Paula Lima Nogueira Costa joined Ulhôa Canto in 1998 and became a partner in 2016. She graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro – PUC/RJ in 1998, and obtained her LL.M on Corporate Law from New York University, USA in 2003. She is a specialist in corporate law, infrastructure projects, domestic and international funding, project finance and Oil&Gas.
She has been a member of the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro Chapter, since 1998. She is a member of the AIPN – Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and a member of the Petroleum and Derivatives Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro Chapter. She is also the head of the Legal, Tax and Regulatory Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil – Britcham. Her native language is Portuguese and she is fluent in English.
